I watched inception, this is a good example of a psychological thriller because it uses may of the main conventions of a thriller
Inception

Inception uses many of the conventions known for thriller films such as

• Deep tense music to add tension 
• Jump cuts to shock the audience
• also the way there is a hook/ twist in the main storyline to add to the film
